Mettre a jour ma carte graphique

Salut ! Je souhaiterais mettre a jour ma (vieille) carte graphique. Pour cela j’ai télécharger un (vieux) driver, mais ce driver est au format zip, comme s’il était déjà installé. Donc, comme je fais pour mettre a jour ma carte graphique et avec un driver comment celui là?.. :stuck_out_tongue:

C’est quoi ta carte graphique ? Parce que même si elle est vieille, les sites des principaux constructeurs doivent bien fournir des drivers à l’installation un peu plus user friendly.

En dézippant et en mettant les fichiers dans ton répertoire windows/system32.

Ouch, effectivement, je suis pas sûr que nVIDIA fasse encore du support pour ces cartes là. Il n’y pas un readme fourni avec qui expliquerait comment ça se passe ?

Edition : vas donc sur la page des drivers de nVIDIA

a mais si… y’a un readme (en anglais mais bon…) j’ai meme pas penser à le regarder.

en plus j’ai télécharger le patch pour faire marcher… serious sam 1 héhéhé…

edit : j’ai dézipper dans le fichier system 32, ca donne rien…

il me semble que les drivers actuels supportent aussi a carte.

euh sauf erreur de ma part, y a un fichier executable pour les drivers TNT2…
Dans « pilotes graphiques> GeForce et TNT2 »… :stuck_out_tongue:

oui, mais en fait c’est pas le meme driver que je veux et qui est proposé sur nvidia.fr, celui que je veux et dans un zip, et je sais pas comment l’installer… parce que j’ai mis celui de nvidia.fr, et ca donne rien.

edit : mmh… pour le driver que je veux installer, y’a un readme, mais c’est en anglais et je comprend pas tout…

Tu peux faire un copier/coller ici, on va te faire une traduction.

4 Click Advanced, click the Adapter tab, then click Change.

5 Click Next, click Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so
you can select the driver you want, then click Next.

6 Select Show all Hardware button, then select the Standard display types from
the Manufacturers list.

7 Select Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) from the list, then select Next.

8 Click Next to install the driver, then click Finish.

9 Click Apply, then click Close.

10 Click Yes when Windows asks if you wish to restart the computer.

To install the drivers

Windows copies the files to the hard disk.

7 Click Finish, click Apply, then click Close.

8 Click Yes when Windows asks if you wish to restart the computer.

Démarrer Fenêtre…heu non Windows 98

Appuie sur le bouton « Suivant », puis sur « Afficher la liste de tous les pilotes… », sélectionne le pilote que tu as dézippé.

Click sur le bouton « Montrer tout le matériel » (je connais pas le nom du bouton mais c’est l’idée), et sélectionne « Affichage standard » dans la liste des constructeurs.

7 Select Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) from the list, then select Next.
Sélectionne « Adaptateur Graphique PCIU Standard » dans la liste et appuie sur « Suivant »

8 Click Next to install the driver, then click Finish.
« Suivant pour installer le pilote » et puis « Terminer »

9 Click Apply, then click Close.
Appuie sur Appliquer, puis « Fermer »

10 Click Yes when Windows asks if you wish to restart the computer.
Redémarre le pc

To install the drivers
Pour installer les pilotes

« Suivant » > « Afficher la liste de tous les pilotes… », choisit le bon pilote et puis « Suivant »

5 Click Have Disk, select or type the path to the folder containing the driver
  files, then click OK.
Clicker sur « Choisir le répertoire » (Pareil, c’est pas sûr, le bouton c’est peut-être « Parcourir ») et sélectionne le chemin du dossier qui contient les fichiers des pilotes.

  Windows should find files for your NVIDIA graphics chip.  If Windows cannot
  find the files, check that the path name for the driver files is correct.
Windows devrait trouver les fichier pour ta nVidia. Si c’est pas le cas, vérifie que le chemin est correct

6 If Windows found the files, click OK, then click Next.
S’il trouve les fichiers, appuie sur « Ok » puis « Suivant ».

  Windows copies the files to the hard disk.
Windows copie les fichiers sur le disque dur

7 Click Finish, click Apply, then click Close.
Appuie sur « Terminer » > « Appliquer » puis « Fermer »

8 Click Yes when Windows asks if you wish to restart the computer.
Redémarre le pc
