HR position: Project Manager, Information Security Policy
Professional area: Resources
Reports to: Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
Mission
To meet the EBU’s ICS requirements, the EBU wishes to upgrade the security of its business information, business continuity planning and policy compliance. A project manager will be appointed for one year to adapt and coordinate the implementation of an Information Security Policy across departments within the EBU.

To contribute to the greater effectiveness of the EBU’s standard of compliance
Job content & diversity
To use the draft Information Security Policy Version 1.1 as a benchmark to determine what is the appropriate level of security required and to identify the consequent changes in procedure and to assist in or implement the change.
Presenting suggested changes to the policy to the CFAO.
Ensure that the policy document is kept up-to-date reflecting
agreed changes
To ensure that departments are fully involved in this
assessment, through the GSI network or directly with
departments as appropriate.
To prepare monthly progress reports on the IT Security Policy
implementation for the CFAO and EBU Management Committee
Independence of action
Autonomous within the frame agreed with the CFAO.
Financial responsibilities
Cost control and analysis, to ensure that agreed changes are completed in accordance with an agreed timetable and budget.
Staff supervision
Manages service delivery by external consultants if required
Communication/interpersonal skills
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to create relations of confidence with EBU staff at all levels.
Frequency & type of contacts
There will be substantial internal contact with all levels of EBU staff including the interdepartmental Information Security Group and the Risk Review Group
Operational
To confirm best practice there will need to be contact with appropriate External organisations.

Education:
University degree in economics, IT or risk management or relevant alternative experience.

Excellent command of English and French, both spoken and written
Strong IT skill (All Microsoft Office applications) LOL
Excellent understanding of EBU organization and activities. <- pas important
Experience
5 years’ experience of project management experience including understanding relevant IT tools, risk assessment and being confident with senior Member staff.

- En général, quand on rentre dans cette boîte, même en CDD, on y reste.
- Ambiance : professionnalisme élevé, associé à un rythme de travail “ralenti” (très ralenti, même).
- Stress : ici cela n’existe pas.
- Camaraderie : exceptionnelle. Les gens apprennent vite à se connaître (logique), et son très sincèrement amicaux.
- La thune : Je détaille plus bas les conditions salariales à l’embauche
- La technologie: réseau IT extrêmement high-tech mais managers “frileux” avec les nouvelles technologies. Traduction : introduire de nouvelles techno est diificile mais faisable.
- Les horaires de travail ne débordent JA-MAIS (17h, c’est 17h).
- Bâtiments beaux, isolés.
- Resto d’entreprise classe et parking souterrain dédié.
Conditions salariales:
- Le salaire de base est élevé
- 21 jours de congés payés
- Les jours fériés sont récupérés si ils tombent un samedi ou un Dimanche (incroyable ça).
- On est payé en début de mois. Genre, la paie du mois d’Avril tombe… le 5 Avril (et pas le mois qui suit)
- Les contributions pour la retraite sont majorés de 16%
- Ils remboursent un forfait (élevé) pour la cotisation de la mutuelle santé
