Depuis la version 1, le développement s’est divisé en deux, les versions _.x et les versions ..x.
Les versions _.x sont celles qui bougent le plus, où le plus de fonctions sont ajoutées (les changements majeurs), et qui sont donc susceptibles de contenir le plus de bugounets.
Elles contiennent aussi tout ce qui a été fait sur les ..x.
Les versions ..x sont celles où seuls les changements mineurs qui pourront rien faire de mal sont effectués. Les corrections de bugs, les améliorations au niveau de la sécurité et les petites optimisations.
Les API de cette branche sont “gelés” le plus possible donc.
C’est ici que vous devez aller si vous cherchez la meilleure stabilité possible. Pour les fonctions, faut voir l’autre (la 1.1), qui est quand même bien stable aussi.
Pour l’instant c’est donc les builds 1.1 et 1.0.1 (issue de la 1.0) qui cohabitent, mais faut s’attendre à voir arriver les 1.1.1, et ainsi de suite.
