Problème de son dans ubuntu

Bon voilà j’ai un problème sur ubuntu j’ai aucun son. Dans asoundconf list ma carte n’apparaît pas alors qu’elle apparaît quand je demande un diagnostique… Que puis-je faire sâchant que je touche pour la première fois à linux de ma vie ?

Tu pourrais commencer par nous donner la version d’Ubuntu, le nom de ton matos, le résultat des commandes suivantes :

dmesg lsusb lspci
Qu’a tu comme options dans le fenêtre de configuration : Système -> Préférence -> Sélecteur de système multimédia ?

Je ne saurai que trop te conseiller de commencer par aller sur le site de la communauté Ubuntu, qui est une source inépuisable d’informations.
Commence par chercher comment résoudre ton problème tout seul. Dis toi que le problème que tu rencontres, d’autres personnes l’ont eu et l’ont solutionné. Il y a donc toujours un article, un guide, une FAQ ou un sujet dans un forum pour te débloquer.
Dans la communauté Linux, on te dira RTFM dès que tu poseras la moindre question.

C’est sûr que c’est bien les faq manuels et autres, mais après faut pas s’étonner que la plupart soient découragés si on leur dit ça à chaque fois « RTFM ». Ca c’est bien quand les gens s’y connaissent, savent chercher (ça s’apprend au fur et à mesure, ça peut pas venir tout de suite). Et ça allait très bien quand 1% de la population touchait à un os alternatif, et que ce 1% s’y connaissait à peu près. Mais c’est pas comme ça que linux deviendra « grand publique » :slight_smile: .

Bon je suis un peu HS quand même. Pour ton problème comme ça a déjà été dit tu peux (malgré tout ce que j’ai dit :cry:) chercher sur le site d’ubuntu qui est effectivement très complet.
Sinon comme ZGoblin, plus d’infos sur ton matos seraient les bienvenues.

J’ai déjà tenté de résoudre le problème en m’appuyant sur des aides sur ubuntu-fr, mais sans succès. Sur les forums j’ai lancé un sujet mais personne ne me réponds plus. Bref…

Ma version d’ubuntu est la 8.10, ma carte son est une Sound Blaster Audigy 2 qui marche parfaitement sur xp.

Il faut que tu désactive ton chipset AC97 dans ton bios, ça devrait surement corriger le problème.

Bon j’ai réussi à désactiver le chipset AC97 je crois ( c’est un bios Dell je comprend pas grand chose, j’ai fait « desactiver audio par défaut » ) et du coup maintenant dans ubuntu sur le contrôleur de son en haut de l’écran il a un panneau d’interdiction et quand je clique dessus il me dit « Aucun greffon de contrôle de volume GStreamer et/ou périphériques trouvés ».

Essaye de décharger/recharger le driver :

modprobe -r snd_emu10k1 modprobe snd_emu10k1

Et donne-nous aussi le retour de la commande lsmod.

Tu peux aussi essayer la même chose avec le driver snd_emu10k2 au cas où mais je n’y crois pas trop.

La je commence à être à cours d’idée. :slight_smile:

Cherche une aide “physique” dans ta région. Il y a pleins d’assoc pour ça.
